Andrea L. Cozza is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she attained a B.S. in Psychology. She subsequently received her Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law along with a certificate in alternative dispute resolution from Moritz. Ms. Cozza is certified as a Specialist in Family Relations Law by the Ohio State Bar Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She also is certified as an arbitrator by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Ms. Cozza has completed mediation training for domestic relations matters as well as additional mediation training in the area of domestic violence.
She is presently serving as vice-chair of the CLE Committee for the American Bar Association Family Law Section and assists in planning and implementing legal education programs for the section. She also serves as co-chair of the Paraprofessional Committee for the section, planning and producing a national symposium for family law paralegals annually through her role with this committee. Ms. Cozza is a member of the Delaware County, Ohio Domestic Relations Committee. In addition to representing parties in family law cases, Ms. Cozza serves as a Guardian ad Litem in domestic relations cases in Franklin County and Delaware County. In this capacity, she represents the best interests of children in divorce and juvenile custody cases.
Ms. Cozza has been honored as an Ohio Super Lawyer annually for 2017 through 2025. Ms. Cozza was also designated by Ohio Super Lawyers as one of the Top 25 Women in Columbus (2021-2024), Top 50 Columbus Super Lawyers (2022-2025), Top 50 Women Ohio Super Lawyers (2022-2025), and Top 100 Ohio Super Lawyers (2024-2025). She was previously designated as a "Rising Star" by Ohio Super Lawyers in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016.
In her community, Ms. Cozza is the Vice President of the Board of Citizens for Humane Action Animal Shelter ("CHA"), serves on the shelter's operations committee, and volunteers regularly with the care of the animals at the shelter. She also plays clarinet with the Westerville Community Band, enjoys spending time with her two Great Danes, and is an avid runner.
